The Struggles of Completing An Assignment..... With a Baby & Raging Hormones!

So this week my 3 month break from studying came to an end and I had to complete my first assignment. With a baby. And raging hormones. Whilst worrying about being made redundant. And waiting anxiously to see if we had been approved for a house we had applied for. Let's just say, it didn't start well. Or end well for that matter. ๐Ÿ™ˆ The assignment was to create a report on Is the Use of Social Media an Addiction. Well in my head I knew the answer. But I had to do research. I had to create a survey, research professional opinions, do a conclusion, a section on my findings, as well as reference every bit of information using the Harvard Referencing system. Whoever created that system needs to go to hell! I'd never been good at writing reports at school. Inspiring The Younger Generation

This week was a very exciting week. My 16 year old sister Destani had an audition for The Voice! My sister has loved to sing from a young age, but it wasn't until she was 9 we realised she had such a good voice. When Destani was 11 she entered her high school talent competition for the first year and got a special mention for her voice. Each year she entered, singing her heart out, determined she would win, and on her 4th attempt she did! Destani even auditioned 3 times for Britain's Got Talent but never made it past the second stage. Undeterred, she decided she would apply for The Voice. But with her college exams coming up, she thought she would leave it until next year. So she was very surprised when she got an email asking her to come along to auditions in Manchester! The Journey Begins!

Everyone has a reason why they blog and here is mine. My goals in life are: Get married and have another baby  Gain a degree in Events Management Have my own Events business Buy a house Be financially comfortable I have planned and executed a few event's successfully but I want to have my own company. But doing this comes from experience. To gain experience I need to work as a manager. This includes having a degree. So I found a distant learning course that allows me to gain my Diploma in Business. Once I gain my Diploma, I can apply for university and get my degree. Woohoo!๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰ So I had my plan.
